The location was excellent - right next to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio, and within easy walking distance to everything. |

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful and very centrally located. Most poiints of interest were within walking distance, the Duomo, Academia Museum, Ponte Vecchio and several Piazza's. The Porters were quite friendly. We opted to have a partial view of the Arno River and it was too noisy at night and disturbed our sleep. The view was obstructed by the arch wall situated directly in front of the Hotel. If you are a light sleeper be sure to ask for a room that is away from the traffic area. |

the hotel's position, the room, the view, the helpful staff no in-room tea / coffee facilities for that early morning cuppa before breakfast - I know we could have used room service but the tea would be luke warm. |

Breakfast salon, hotel is at a great central Florence location and the view from the room overlooking the river. Maid service was a little bit variable (no turn down service one night, room not cleaned till 1700 one day) |

Wonderful Breakfast in a Magnificant room -Beautiful Ornate ceiling. Little extras such as Mini pizzas and appetiser portions of pasta served with our rooftop drinks..We requested ,and were given ,rooms with a view. Air conditioning controlled by main Reception staff , it was very frustrating to have to contact them to put it off when we wanted it off and then again when we wanted it back on ! |

Pleasantly surprised by it's location. So convenient to everything and yet remarkably quiet. Would certainly suggest it to any friend. Really can not fault anything about the hotel. They upgraded me to a river view room at no extra charge. |

Weather forecast left in your room every day. Excellent location. Friendly staff Pigeons on tables on the terrace. Not allowed to use your own electrical equipment in bedroom. |

We stayed here for my 40th birthday and really enjoyed the luxury of the hotel and its facilities. We were upgraded to a suite which was an additional treat. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfasts were wonderful. The hotel is situated just along from the Ponte Vecchio so was perfectly located. We found everyone friendly and efficient. Room service was quick and the coffee excellent. Not actually a dislike, but more an observation. Not that we did any cooking but the kitchen in our suite had a full set of crockery as well as a dishwasher but no pots or pans so I'm not sure how much cooking you would be able to do. |

the staff did not have the room that i was originally booked for and wanted to upgrade me but including the cost of the upgrade, in the end i chose to have another upgrade myself but the fact that if i wanted my orginal room is was not avialable is not a good sign |
